Job Description

The Navigation Integrated Systems Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of vessels' navigation systems. This individual serves as the primary point of contact for various stakeholders, including Fleet Superintendents, Partner contract holders, and transversal departments.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Ensuring compliance with International Maritime Organization (IMO) regulations and other relevant international standards.
  • Monitoring and maintaining navigation integrated systems to guarantee optimal performance and safety.
  • Evaluating and assessing partners and key vendors to identify opportunities for improvement.

This position requires strong analytical and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in supporting vessels, preferably in a similar capacity.
  • Excellent knowledge of integrated radio and navigation systems, OT networking, and cybersecurity controls.
  • Strong project management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Power Query.
  • Fluent in English language.
  • Effective communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
