Backend Developer

We are seeking a seasoned Backend Developer to join our team and lead the design and implementation of event-driven architecture patterns.

  • To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong understanding of distributed systems, asynchronous communication, and event orchestration without central control. You will also need to develop Python applications using GCP SDKs and deploy backend services on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including PubSub, Dataflow, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Run.

You will work closely with our development team to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement new technologies to increase efficiency and scalability.

A key responsibility will be to design and implement RPC-style APIs under the hood and develop expertise in schema design and serialization formats, particularly Avro and ProtobufJSON for defining, evolving, and validating event schemas.

Our ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the tech stack, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Python, Avro, and ProtobufJSON.
