Lead Auditor Role Overview

This senior position involves overseeing daily audit operations for clients worldwide. As part of the team, you will work closely with onshore and offshore teams to deliver high-quality results.

You will utilize your knowledge of accounting principles, including US GAAP, UK GAAP, IFRS, and GAAS. Your expertise in audit methods and tools will enable you to plan, execute, and report on engagements effectively.

This role requires involvement in all audit stages: planning, execution, and reporting. You will collaborate with the team to solve accounting, auditing, and other issues using audit tools and technology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute assigned tasks within project scope and deadlines.
  • Monitor engagement progress and identify best practices on engagements.
  • Work with the team on methodologies and tools to perform tasks within project scope.
  • Develop an understanding of quality and risk management procedures, and ensure these are embedded into the engagement team's work.
  • Actively engage with assurance teams to manage workflow and allocate resources. Monitor performance against established standards.
  • Oversee team utilization and address operational matters.
  • Standardize review processes and apply best practices across assigned engagements.

Team Collaboration and Leadership

You will participate in all audit phases while supervising and guiding junior staff throughout each stage. Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality results and driving excellence in our field.

Required Qualifications

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI)
  • 2+ years of post-qualification experience in Statutory Audit.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in auditing with exposure to US clients or understanding of US GAAP/GAAS/IFRS preferred.
