Job Title: Security Specialist

Join us in developing and implementing a world-class security program for our first-mile network, ensuring timely delivery of products to customers at the best possible cost.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Specialist to partner with stakeholders and cross-functional teams across various cities within a region. Your primary focus will be on executing company security policies, providing security services, and protecting assets (lives, inventory in transit and within sort center, buildings, equipment, data, & intellectual property) within assigned locations and surrounding geography.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform risk assessments of site operations and frame mitigation measures
  • Implement and ensure sites' compliance with company security policies and industry or merchant requirements
  • Conduct frequent site security audits to identify non-compliance equipment and/or processes, implement solutions to eliminate exposure to these risks, and prevent injury
  • Collaborate with guarding vendors to ensure clear expectations and accountability for service level agreement requirements
  • Build and deploy security training programs
  • Serve as department's liaison and security subject matter expert
  • Effectively address safety and security incidents, including potential and actual workplace violence incidents per policy

Requirements:

• University degree level or equivalent through experience and professional certification

• A minimum of 4-7 years in Security and Loss prevention role, law enforcement or security-related profession

• Extensive knowledge of Shrink management and Data Analysis

• Experience in managing or coordinating security investigations of complex nature

• Knowledge of information security processes and systems

• Experience in security auditing

• Loss Prevention, Investigation/Security related Certifications

• Preferably from Military/Law enforcement or Studies related to criminology or forensics background
