Job Opportunity

Civil designers are needed to create 2D & 3D drawings for various projects, including new and retrofit designs. The role involves working on an integrated design team to generate civil plans and details.

Responsibilities:
  • Create site plans, grading plans, paving plans, improvement plans for roads and rails, stormwater drainage details, erosion control plans and other civil plans/details.
  • Use Autodesk AutoCAD, Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3d, Bentley MicroStation and OpenRoad Designer software to complete tasks.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of CAD standards and best practices.
  • Learn and successfully apply company drafting standards and procedures.
  • Apply formulas, principles, and practices to complete required drawings.
  • Coordinate drafting activities with other designers, drafters, and design disciplines.


Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil (general) engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in civil design.
  • Knowledge of land development, site development and master development project experience.
  • Able to work independently and use design and drafting tools such as AutoCAD and others.
  • Intermediate working knowledge in Navisworks manage and clash analysis.
