Job Title: Engineering Manager

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Inspiring and leading a high-performing team of 8–10 engineers through day-to-day coaching, mentoring, and professional development.
  • Shaping the future by co-defining the technical vision and strategy for your domain, and guiding the team through architectural and engineering decisions.
  • Owning delivery excellence by driving execution and collaborating cross-functionally with stakeholders to deliver high-impact outcomes.
  • Building for scale by ensuring the platform is secure, resilient, and scalable—supporting millions of users globally.
  • Designing for the future by leading the development of robust, cloud-agnostic, distributed systems that are built to last.
  • Accelerating innovation by driving the integration of AI/ML capabilities across demand forecasting, recommendation engines, and real-time decisioning.
  • Staying ahead of the curve by keeping current with emerging technologies and bringing fresh thinking to the team.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 8+ years in software engineering with a focus on building distributed, cloud-native systems
  • 3+ years of engineering leadership, managing teams of 8+ engineers
  • Demonstrated success leading in high-performance technical environments
  • Strong project and delivery management capabilities
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Hands-on experience designing and building microservices and event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
  • Proficient in one or more of: Java, Python, Go, .Net or Any backend Stack
  • Track record of scaling platforms to support high RPS with 99.99%+ uptime
  • Deep expertise in cloud-native tools and infrastructure: Kubernetes, Istio, Terraform
