At the forefront of payment technology lies an opportunity to revolutionize the financial services sector. We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with expertise in Selenium, BDD Cucumber, and JavaScript.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and hands-on experience in banking payments systems.

Job Description

This role involves designing and implementing automated test frameworks, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the quality of mission-critical financial applications.

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and BDD Cucumber.
  • Write clean, scalable test scripts in JavaScript, applying OOP principles.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
  • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing for payment applications involving Wires, SWIFT, or SEPA payment schemes.
  • Analyse test results, identify defects, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Maintain and execute automated test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on automation.
  • Proficiency in Selenium, BDD Cucumber, and JavaScript.
  • Strong understanding of OOP concepts and their application in test automation.
  • Hands-on experience with payment schemes such as Wires, SWIFT, or SEPA and payments processing engine is desirable.
  • Familiarity with test management tools and version control systems.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, or similar.
