Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join our production support team in the payment domain. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and ensuring the uptime and stability of critical banking applications.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing level 2/3 application and production support for digital payment systems, including UPI and retail banking platforms
  • Monitoring application health, system alerts, and performing incident management to ensure minimal downtime
  • Performing root cause analysis (RCA) for recurring issues and driving long-term solutions
  • Coordinating with development, QA, infrastructure, and vendor teams for issue resolution and change implementation
  • Documenting support procedures, run books, and incident reports
  • Ensuring compliance with ITIL practices, including incident, problem, and change management
  • Handling deployment activities, release validations, and post-production verification
  • Acting as a subject matter expert (SME) for payment systems and supporting audits and compliance-related activities
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
  • 8-11 years of experience in application support, production support, or IT operations
  • Hands-on experience supporting UPI platforms, retail banking applications, and payment gateways
  • Strong understanding of banking protocols and digital payment workflows
  • Proficiency in SQL, Unix/Linux commands, log analysis, and scripting (Shell/Python preferred)
  • Good understanding of monitoring tools, incident tracking systems (e.g., Splunk, AppDynamics, ServiceNow)
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with a strong sense of urgency
  • Strong communication and coordination skills across cross-functional teams
