High Net Worth Tax Services Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the role of High Net Worth Tax Services Specialist.

  • Work with high-net-worth families, closely held businesses, estates, trusts, and private foundations to provide tax services.
  • Prepare complex returns for high net worth individuals, including Form 1040, Trust returns Form 1041, Multi-State Returns, Partnership Form 1065, and S-Corporation Form 1120S.
  • Reconcile amounts in documentation provided by clients and identify inconsistencies.
  • Conduct thorough reviews and analysis of tax workpapers and tax returns to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of reporting requirements for different entity structures and the compliance process.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to develop cutting-edge tax strategies that minimize client tax liabilities.
  • Utilize tax knowledge and expertise to streamline the tax preparation process and bring work to completion efficiently.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant tax legislation affecting Private Client Service clients.
  • Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including USI and U.S. teams, to address questions or collect necessary information for tax service requirements.
  • Ensure all checklists and controls are completed accurately.
  • Maintain current knowledge of tax practices and changes in tax law to ensure compliance and minimize risk.
  • Identify and report any risk and compliance issues, breaches, or suspicious activities promptly.
Required Skills and Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in business taxation working for a Big 4 or U.S.-based public accounting firm.
  • Bachelor's degree and master's degree in accounting (B. Com/BBA and MBA/M. Com).
  • Experience preparing workpapers and U.S. tax returns.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
