System Reliability Engineering Job Opportunity

As a Senior Engineer, Site Reliability plays a critical role in ensuring the stability and operational excellence of financial platforms.

The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Production Engineering, ideally supporting financial applications.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure financial platforms meet defined performance, reliability, and uptime requirements.
  • Build automation for deployments, monitoring, scaling, and self-healing capabilities to reduce manual effort and operational risk.
  • Implement and maintain comprehensive monitoring, alerting, and logging for financial applications and data pipelines.
  • Lead and participate in on-call rotations, perform root cause analysis, and drive improvements to prevent recurrence of production issues.
  • Establish best practices for capacity planning, performance tuning, disaster recovery, and compliance controls in financial systems.
  • Partner with software engineers, data engineers, and finance teams to ensure operational needs are met from development through production.
  • Ensure financial applications and data pipelines meet audit, security, and compliance requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field.
  • Strong experience with monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk).
  • Hands-on expertise with CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and IaC tools.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, dbt, and financial system integrations.
  • Strong scripting experience (Python, Bash, Go) for automation and tooling.
  • Proven ability to manage incident response and conduct blameless postmortems.
