Data Analyst Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our team. This role involves working closely with data scientists, engineers and business teams to support machine learning initiatives and deliver actionable insights that drive business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather and maintain high-quality datasets for analytical and machine learning purposes, ensuring accuracy, completeness and scalability
  • Perform feature engineering, handle imbalanced data, and prepare datasets for model training, validation and deployment
  • Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, correlations and trends in structured and unstructured datasets
  • Collaborate with data scientists to design, train and validate ML models
  • Interpret and communicate model outcomes to business stakeholders
  • Contribute to the deployment and monitoring of ML models in production environments
  • Develop insightful dashboards and interactive reports using tools like Tableau, Power BI or Python libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly)
  • Work closely with business units, engineering and data science teams to translate business needs into data-driven solutions
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field (Masters degree preferred)
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python or R
  • Experience with machine learning libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch
  • Familiarity with NLP, recommendation systems or time-series forecasting
  • Knowledge of cloud-based ML platforms such as AWS SageMaker, Google Vertex AI or Azure ML
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and Python visualization libraries
