Role Overview:

This position is pivotal in driving data quality, accessibility, and strategic decision-making. As an Associate Engagement Manager, you will bridge the gap between complex business needs and technical data solutions.

  • Gather and translate complex business requirements into actionable data specifications.
  • Perform data profiling and analysis to identify quality issues and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar tools to support ongoing monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure data initiatives align with our objectives.
  • Translate technical concepts into clear business value for non-technical audiences.
  • Design and implement data governance processes that ensure transparency, traceability, and alignment across teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience as a data/business analyst working within insurance or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of insurance industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced skills in SQL for data querying, profiling, and transformation.
  • Proficiency in Power BI or similar BI tools for creating dashboards and reports.
  • Experience translating business requirements into data requirements.

Stakeholder Management & Communication:

  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to work cross-functionally with stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language.

Analysis & Problem-Solving:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to perform thorough data validation and identify data quality issues.

Insurance Industry Expertise:

  • Domain expertise in the insurance domain to ensure accurate capture and alignment with local regulatory standards.

Project Execution:

  • Apply project management principles to execute projects efficiently.
