Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled IT Support and Security Specialist to serve as the primary administrator for our internal IT infrastructure while establishing and enforcing comprehensive security policies. This dual-role position combines hands-on technical support with strategic security implementation, making it ideal for a technical professional who wants to impact both day-to-day operations and long-term security posture.

This role will be responsible for providing first-level technical support, managing internal networking components, administering employee workstations, and overseeing OneDrive deployment and file sharing protocols. Additionally, this person will be involved in developing and implementing comprehensive security policies, creating, configuring, and maintaining firewall rules, and participating in InfoSec audits and regulatory compliance assessments.

The ideal candidate will have experience in IT support and security administration, with a strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and security architectures. They should also have proficiency in Windows (Server and Desktop) operating systems, with Mac and Linux knowledge preferred. Experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, SharePoint, and Exchange Online is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide immediate resolution for hardware, software, and network issues across all departments.
  • Manage internal networking components including switches, routers, and access points.
  • Administer employee workstations, laptops, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
  • Oversee OneDrive deployment, storage policies, and file sharing protocols.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security policies across all systems and processes.
  • Create, configure, and maintain firewall rules.
  • Participate in InfoSec audits and regulatory compliance assessments.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience: 3+ years in IT support and security administration.
  • Microsoft Ecosystem: Proven experience with Microsoft 365, Entra ID, SharePoint, and Exchange Online.
  • Network Security: Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and security architectures.
  • Operating Systems: Proficiency in Windows (Server and Desktop), with Mac and Linux knowledge preferred.
