Project Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced project leader to join our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects, developing best practices and tools for project planning and execution, and communicating updates on critical project status to senior management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop best practices and tools for project planning, execution, and ongoing deliverable tracking
  • Present and communicate updates on critical project status to senior management
  • Provide support to senior management for executive meetings: status reports, IT operating board, and IT advisory board
  • Guide business governance committees for prioritization of projects in the portfolio and related schedule
  • Direct project managers and teams in governance and implementation of processes, methodologies, tools, and products
  • Prepare and review recurring program and project status reports
  • Facilitate the identification and escalation of issues and risks
  • Facilitate resource capacity planning across all projects in the portfolio and communicate effectively with senior management
  • Identify areas for continuous improvement and facilitate audit of required project deliverables and documentation
  • Travel required based on business demands

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, such as business administration or computer science
  • 12 years of experience using knowledge, process management systems (VISIO, Smart sheet, MS Projects, Excel & Power Point)
  • Industry standard Project Management Certifications such as PMP is added value
  • Min. 6 years of experience of being a business analyst role for IT software and infrastructure projects
