Job Title: Data Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at Impelsys. As a Data Engineer, you will play a key part in designing, building, and deploying data systems, pipelines, and applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement data pipelines to produce reliable feature sets for Data Analytics and Reporting
  • Ingest data from various sources, including relational databases and unstructured data
  • Setup database connections with on-cloud and on-premises databases
  • Work closely with customers on problem scoping, infrastructure provisioning, execution, deployment, and maintenance
  • Develop and maintain data engineering solutions using PySpark, Python, and Scala
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and integrity
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering

Requirements

  • 3-7 years of experience in data engineering
  • Excellent hands-on experience with PySpark, Python, and Scala
  • Experience with Data Lake and Databricks, EMR, and AWS Data orchestration tools
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Passion for working with new technologies
