Data Architect Role at Impelsys

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to join our team at Impelsys. As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for developing architectural strategies for data modeling, design, and implementation to meet stated requirements for metadata management, master data management, data warehouses, ETL, and ELT.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop architectural strategies for data modeling, design, and implementation.
  2. Analyze business requirements and design scalable/robust data models.
  3. Document conceptual, logical, and physical data model design.
  4. Lead and mentor Data Engineers.
  5. Investigate new technologies and data modeling methods.
  6. Recognize and resolve conflicts between models.
  7. Participate in the design of the information architecture.
  8. Provide guidance to the team.
  9. Contribute as an expert to multiple delivery teams.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a candidate with 10+ years of relevant experience in data modeling for DW & analytics applications, database-related technologies, and cloud database technologies.

Requirements

  1. Expert data modeling skills.
  2. Solid understanding of cloud database technologies and services.
  3. Experience in data lake technologies.
  4. Experience in working with data governance, data quality, and data security teams.
  5. Strong experience in working with and optimizing existing ETL processes.
  6. Ability to lead and mentor teams.
  7. Cramp and effective executive communication skills.

Education

A graduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or Software Engineering is required.
