.NET Software Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled .NET software engineer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining and deploying robust, scalable and high-performance web and desktop applications using the Microsoft .NET framework.

The successful candidate will be involved in the full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing and deployment. They will work closely with front-end developers, designers, QA and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, test and maintain web and desktop applications using .NET technologies (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Participate in the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Optimize applications for performance, scalability and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in existing applications.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core/5+/6+.
  • Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript and frameworks like Angular or React.
  • Proficiency in working with MS SQL Server or other relational databases.
  • Experience with Entity Framework, LINQ and RESTful API integration.
  • Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
