Backend Developer Job

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer to create scalable and efficient backend systems using C# and ASP.NET Core.

The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of design patterns, data structures and software development best practices. They will be responsible for developing, testing and deploying high-quality backend services and APIs.

  • Design and implement robust backend services and RESTful APIs using C# and ASP.NET Core.
  • Build and evolve microservices, implement data access layers using Entity Framework and optimize database performance.
  • Own end-to-end feature delivery: requirements analysis, design, implementation, unit testing and documentation.
Key Responsibilities

- Implement CI/CD pipelines, containerize services with Docker and support automated deployments.

- Collaborate closely with product owners, QA, DevOps and UX teams in Agile ceremonies to drive quality and timely releases.

- Perform code reviews, enforce engineering best practices and profile applications for performance.

Requirements

- 4+ years professional experience in C# and .NET development (ASP.NET Core preferred).

- Strong experience with Web API design, RESTful services and integration patterns.

- Solid SQL Server experience and ORM experience with Entity Framework.

- Hands-on with microservices, Docker containerisation and basic orchestration concepts.

- Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, unit testing and automated tests.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Azure services or other cloud platforms.

- Knowledge of performance tuning, caching strategies and async processing.

- Exposure to event-driven architectures and monitoring tooling.
