Job Title: Senior SQL Developer

This is a highly specialized role for an experienced database administrator.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing databases, ensuring their proper maintenance, deployment, and security. They will also work closely with the development team to ensure system availability and performance.

  • Design and implement databases using SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Maintain databases through regular backups and restores.
  • Manage deployments and ensure best practices are followed.
  • Work with the security team to ensure database security.
  • Manage database migrations between servers and versions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with databases.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure system availability and performance.
Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Developing and maintaining documentation related to databases.
  • Supporting reporting team members with database queries and data requirements.
  • Providing Power BI support.
  • Working with vendor support on any issues that require their assistance.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 5+ years of experience as a DBA, with a focus on SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Excellent knowledge of database administration, design, and maintenance for SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Experience with database migrations and deployments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
