Database Architect Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Database Architect to design, develop and maintain robust database solutions. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SQL & NoSQL databases, ensuring data integrity and supporting AI-driven applications.

The Database Architect will collaborate closely with our Engineering teams to optimize storage, retrieval and analytics pipelines. Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing and maintaining scalable database architectures
  • Optimizing database queries, indexing and performance tuning
  • Ensuring data security, compliance, backup and disaster recovery
  • Building and maintaining ETL pipelines to support AI/ML and analytics workflows

Required skills and experience include:

  • Strong proficiency with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL)
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB)
  • Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate) is a plus
  • Expertise in database optimization, indexing and partitioning

Nice-to-have skills include:

  • Experience with data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
  • Knowledge of streaming data systems (Kafka, Spark)
  • Hands-on experience with AI/ML data pipelines
