Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced accounting specialist to support our U.S. finance function.

This role will be critical in ensuring the accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting of financial data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process weekly timesheets and client invoices
  • Submit accurate and timely payroll and accounting data
  • Prepare regular reports using QuickBooks
  • Manage and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Assist with general ledger entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing procedures
  • Support the preparation of financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP
  • Track and manage purchase order expirations and related documentation
  • Maintain employee, customer, and vendor master data
  • Liaise with state agencies regarding payroll, unemployment, and tax matters

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in U.S. accounting or bookkeeping (staffing or consulting preferred)
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Experience in payroll, accounts payable, and expense management
  • QuickBooks proficiency is required
  • Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and reconciliations
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail
