Automation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional to spearhead our automation efforts.

About the Role:
  • This position involves designing, developing and maintaining robust automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, TestNG/JUnit and REST Assured.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for building scalable, reusable test automation libraries and utilities.
  • A key aspect of this role is automating testing for web, API and backend services.
  • Collaboration with developers, DevOps and QA teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines is crucial.
  • Code reviews, debugging and troubleshooting of automation scripts will also be an essential part of this position.
  • Maintaining test coverage, ensuring test documentation and providing automation strategy input are critical responsibilities.
  • Driving best practices in test automation across the team and mentoring junior QA engineers on automation and coding practices are also key aspects.
Requirements:
  • Strong coding experience in Java (mandatory).
  • Expertise in automation framework design and development.
  • Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, Maven/Gradle.
  • API automation experience using REST Assured, Postman, Swagger.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and database validation.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools.
  • Solid understanding of Agile methodology.
