Data Engineering Opportunity
We are looking for a world-class data engineer to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of distributed computing principles and excellent problem-solving skills.
The successful candidate will design, develop, and maintain the infrastructure for streaming, processing, and storage of data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design scalable and performant solutions for data requirements.
- Maintain data infrastructure, build tools for effective maintenance and monitoring.
- Contribute to key data pipeline architecture decisions.
- Develop the team's data capabilities and share knowledge.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science from a top university.
- At least 8 years of experience in a similar role with a proven track record of building scalable data infrastructure.
- Expert SQL knowledge and deep experience working with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Advanced knowledge of Apache Kafka and demonstrated proficiency in Hadoop v2, HDFS, and MapReduce.
