Senior Azure Data Engineer Job Description

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft Azure data services, cloud-based data engineering solutions, and modern reporting tools. This role involves leading technical projects, designing scalable data architectures, and delivering actionable insights through BI tools using modern data Lakehouse/warehouse architecture.

  • Collaborating with Data Architect, Business Analysts, and Data Scientists to deliver high-quality, reliable, and secure data products
Technical Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled professional who possesses the following technical skills:

  • Cloud & Data Platforms: Microsoft Azure (Microsoft Fabric, ADF, Synapse, Databricks, ADLS Gen2, Azure SQL, Azure DevOps, Azure Event Hub)
  • BI Tools: Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps
  • Programming Languages: PySpark, Scala, C#, SQL
  • Databases: SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake
  • Version Control: GitHub, Azure DevOps
  • Other Tools: MS Office Suite, Lucidchart, Draw.io
