Senior Data Analyst Position

At our company, we are seeking a skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team.

  • Strong Python and SQL skills are required for this role. The ideal candidate will have experience building, deploying, and evaluating ML/NLP/GenAI systems.
  • A strong understanding of ML system design is essential for this position.

The successful candidate will be able to break down complex tasks into implementation strategies and articulate them effectively.

  • Software engineering best practices, including testing, OOP, etc., are expected from the candidate.
  • Knowledge of cloud systems, especially Azure, is preferred.
  • Mathematical optimizers, their selection, and parameter settings are also important skills for this role.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will work closely with data scientists, data engineers, software engineers, data managers, and business partners.

  • Key responsibilities include designing scalable, re-usable, impactful data science products, typically containing statistical or machine learning algorithms, in collaboration with data engineers and software engineers.
  • You will also carry out data analyses to yield actionable business insights.

Other key qualifications include hands-on experience designing, planning, prototyping, productionizing, maintaining, and documenting reliable and scalable data science products in complex environments.

  • Applied knowledge of data science tools and approaches across all data lifecycle stages is required.
  • Thorough understanding of underlying mathematical foundations of statistics and machine learning is also essential.

Development experience in object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, C++) is necessary. Advanced SQL knowledge and knowledge of experimental design and analysis are also required.

  • Customer-centric and pragmatic mindset with a focus on value delivery and swift execution while maintaining attention to detail is expected.
  • Experience with system designs like kNN model and NLP algorithms is also beneficial.
