Cities and Urban Landscape Initiative

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented project associate to support our urban landscape initiatives.

This role is ideal for a professional with a passion for creating people-centered urban spaces and a strong understanding of project coordination.

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of projects focused on complete streets and sustainable urban design.
  • Support the development and execution of urban landscape projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Conduct site visits and gather data to inform project planning and design.
  • Assist in the preparation of design concepts, presentations, and reports related to complete street projects.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including government agencies, community groups, and consultants, to ensure effective project implementation.
  • Facilitate community consultations and workshops to gather valuable feedback.
  • Conduct research on best practices in urban landscape design and complete streets, supporting project development.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate project outcomes and inform future initiatives.
  • Prepare project documentation, progress reports, and presentations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Planning, Urban Design, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in urban planning, landscape design, or project coordination.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, GIS) is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
