Senior Unreal Engine Developer

Are you a skilled and experienced Unreal Engine developer looking for a challenging role? We are seeking a highly competent Senior Unreal Engine Developer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in C++ and Blueprints, with over 6 years of experience in game or application development using Unreal Engine and/or Unity Engine. You will be responsible for implementing complex gameplay systems, architectural visualization, optimizing performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement complex gameplay systems using Unreal Engine.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in C++ and Blueprints.
  • Collaborate closely with game designers, artists, and other developers to understand project requirements and deliver robust solutions.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high code quality and performance.
  • Understand and enhance code and Blueprints written by other developers, integrating new features for upcoming releases.
  • Optimize game/application performance and troubleshoot technical challenges.
  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
  • Stay current with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies.

Primary Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Unreal Engine Developer or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in C++ and Blueprints within Unreal Engine.
  • 6+ years of experience in 3D game, application, or visualization development using Unreal and/or Unity.
  • Deep understanding of Unreal Engine core systems and architecture.
  • Experience with performance analysis and code optimization.
  • Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Secondary Skills:

  • Experience with Unity 3D and C# programming.

Must Have:

  • Proficient in C++ and Blueprint development using Unreal Engine.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Pixel Streaming.
  • Experience developing multiplayer and networked gameplay systems.
  • Technical art skills related to materials and shaders.
  • Test-driven development (TDD) experience.
  • CI/CD pipeline experience.
  • Familiarity with other game engines or technologies like Unity.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 6+ years of professional experience in Unreal Engine development.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing past Unreal Engine projects.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team of developers.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
