Senior Test Lead

At our company, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Test Lead to lead our testing team. This individual will be responsible for providing day-to-day leadership, management, and support of testing projects, including implementation, supporting infrastructure, and ongoing maintenance of the test suite.

• Provide leadership and direction to a high-performing team of engineers, ensuring they have the necessary tools, training, and resources to deliver high-quality results.
• Develop and implement software development and testing strategies utilizing industry standards, create roadmaps and timelines of implementation based on business needs.
• Define and track reporting metrics and KPIs to measure performance, quality, and on-time delivery of the Software Test team, maintain dashboards and produce monthly test performance reports for executive leadership.
• Ensure QA/Testing processes and procedures are followed consistently across projects and teams, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
• Partner closely with Development and BA teams to deliver products with robust quality, owning overarching delivery test strategies and test approaches for projects.
• Lead multi-disciplinary, high-performance work teams distributed across remote locations, expanding capabilities through a customer-obsessed, services-driven digital solutions platform leveraging data and AI to deliver automated and personalized experiences.
• Manage and escalate delivery impediments, risks, issues, and changes tied to engineering initiatives, interacting with key business partners to recommend solutions that align with strategic business needs.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 14 years of strong testing experience, with a minimum of 4+ years of strong QA Automation experience.
• Expertise in API Automation testing and exposure to REST API framework, Automation experience using any of the tools – Postman, Rest assured will be effective for the role.
• Strong Experience in Integration testing (SIT) and ability to understand the system/Data Flow architecture and guide the team to build effective test scenarios.
• Experience with Automation frameworks and tools like Selenium.
• Good understanding on various testing methodologies, SOLID design Principles and Performance testing principles.
• Demonstrate expertise in black box and grey box testing methodologies, experience with standard QA and development tools.
• Expertise in implementing and optimizing agile development and continuous integration / continuous delivery methodologies.
• Good Experience working with SQL and large volumes of data.
• Working knowledge of Java programming is a plus.
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented design is a plus.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services and cloud specific PaaS and SaaS solutions.
