About the Role

As a cloud architect in this position, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and leading the development of a cloud environment leveraging AWS technologies. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure to ensure its security, scalability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Troubleshoots and resolves AWS service issues across development, testing, and production environments
  • Manages AWS services, working with internal teams as required to ensure system availability meets project requirements
  • Designing, building, and deploying cloud solutions using various cloud services and platforms (AWS)
  • Provides guidance and technical expertise on cloud adoption, migration, and optimization
  • Develop scripts to automate systems administration and monitoring activities
  • Provide technical support on AWS-related issues, monitor solutions, and implement appropriate strategies to eliminate performance bottlenecks
  • Works with Infrastructure and Product teams on issues related to AWS design and architecture and assists with Proof-of-Concept development and testing
  • Collaborates with peers within and beyond the Operations team to define and characterize complex technology or process problems and develop & implement new solutions

Qualifications:

Education:

  • BA/BS in Computer Science or related field
  • AWS Cloud Practitioner certification, AWS SysOps Administrator Certification, Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or equivalent AWS Cloud Engineering/Architecture experience

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies, architecture principles, and best practices
  • 3+ years of AWS administration experience, including API Gateway, S3, ECS, EKS, Fargate, EC2, Lambda, WAF, and CloudTrail
  • Experience deploying Infrastructure as Code using tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform
  • Excellent troubleshooting and root cause-analysis skills
  • Excellent working knowledge of Windows and Linux server technologies
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment in driving technical problems to resolution
