Job Overview:

We are seeking researchers with strong Physics backgrounds to help refine large language models (LLMs) in understanding and solving complex physics problems.

Research Objectives:

The selected candidate may be required to complete tasks such as determining the maximum radial distance an electron reaches from a conductor's axis, or calculating the probability of a high-energy pion decaying within a certain distance.

These tasks aim to identify model weaknesses and improve training and evaluation workflows.

Candidate Profile:

  • Academic Background: PhD/Postdoc in Physics, Applied Physics, or a related field.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to solve advanced physics problems with clear reasoning.
  • Communication Skills: Clarity in explaining complex topics and providing feedback.
  • Research Independence: Ability to work independently in a remote research environment.
  • Technical Setup: Reliable computer and internet access for remote assignments.

Time Commitment & Contract Details:

  • Commitments Required: at least 4 hours per day and minimum 20 hours per week with overlap with PST.
  • Engagement type: Contractor assignment/freelancer.
  • Duration of contract: 1 month.
