Role Overview:

Maintain and develop design team workflows to produce designs that adhere to style guides, BIBA's design language, and quality standards.

  • Track the seasonal fashion calendar for the department and forecast evolving fashion trends.
  • Monitor market changes and development, and perform daily organizational tasks like styling, embroidery development, and sampling.

Team Collaboration:

  • Partner with Design Merchants and other teams.
  • Coordinate with Sampling, Pattern & Khaka's masters and Embroiders.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Design (NIFT/NID/Pearl Academy etc)
  • Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite/Excel/Corel Draw
  • Minimum 4 years of experience
  • Understanding of Indian ethnic wear design sensibilities–Fabric and Styling
  • Proven track record of designing an eye-catching Apparel portfolio with a design team
