About the Role:
  • We are seeking an experienced Enterprise JSON Software Engineer to join our team.
  • This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about building robust, scalable, and secure enterprise-level web services using JSON as the primary data format.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality RESTful web services and APIs that utilize JSON for data exchange.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and deliver integration solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
  • Work closely with other engineers to ensure seamless integration between various systems, both internal and third-party.
  • Implement best practices for API security, error handling, and data validation to protect against vulnerabilities and ensure data integrity.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for web service architecture, workflows, and integration processes.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in developing and maintaining web services and API integrations.
  • Strong proficiency in JSON and experience working with XML is highly valued.
  • Hands-on experience with RESTful API development, SOAP web services, and API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI.
  • Familiarity with integration platforms, middleware, or ESB tools is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of authentication and security protocols (OAuth, JWT, API keys) and good programming skills in languages like Java, Node.js, Python, or similar.
  • Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills, as well as experience working with version control tools (Git).
  • Good understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure) is highly valued.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
