Chief Design Engineer for Sustenance Projects

We are seeking an experienced Design Control Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for leading multiple complex sustenance engineering projects and cross-functional teams to deliver design solutions.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead complex sustenance engineering projects and cross-functional teams to deliver design solutions.
- Contribute/lead design change controls, design reviews, and design transfers.
- Develop and release design control documentation, including creation of verification protocols and summarization of results.
- Optimize product design, material selection, and human factor needs based on project requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or related field.
- Proven experience as a VBA Developer with 5-6 years of development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas and VBA programming.
- Experience with Access, Word, and Outlook VBA is a plus.
- 4-7 years of experience in NPD/Sustenance projects for medical laboratory instruments, appliances, or electromechanical systems.
- Working knowledge of material selection, manufacturing processes (casting, sheet metal, machining), and engineering change control process.
- Expertise in Creo working on complex castings, manufacturing drawings, and large assemblies through Windchill PDM system.
- Knowledge of tooling and fixture design, tolerance stack-up analysis, and medical standards ISO 13485 and ISO 14971.
