Job Opportunity: Java Backend Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Java Backend Developer to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient backend systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement new software components
  • Participate in code reviews and ensure high testability and quality of delivered software
  • Work with QA and Operations teams to troubleshoot and fix defects in software
  • Mentor and coach team members, providing guidance on best practices and perform code reviews
  • Solving problems is your passion
  • You possess superb communication skills
  • Self-motivated teammate who excels in a reciprocal environment

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Java, Springboot, RESTful APIs, Microservice design, and how to design service to service interactions
  • Extensive experience working as a backend developer/lead with deep understanding of architecture and overall business operations for the project
  • Understanding of cloud services (AWS preferred) and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, or a related field of study
