Role Overview

We are seeking a tech leader who will drive product growth, build high-performing teams, and shape engineering strategies.

You will be responsible for:

  • Designing and executing technology plans that deliver business impact.
  • Building, deploying, and iterating on scalable products to meet market needs.
  • Architecting serverless-first backends that can scale and owning all infrastructure & releases.
  • Leading and managing small to medium-sized engineering teams as the product grows.
  • Implementing monitoring, observability, automated tests, and shipping cadence.

In addition, you will work closely with founder(s) on product strategy, growth, and go-to-market (GTM), and set engineering culture: code quality, reviews, standards, and rapid delivery.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Treated product & engineering as the same thing. You'll design, build, test, ship, measure, repeat.
  • Built and launched full-stack mobile apps (Android & iOS) end-to-end — not just UI. You can own native/React Native/Flutter or deliver equivalent via no-code + custom glue when needed.
  • Coded and orchestrated infra, auth, payments, API integrations, real-time feeds, and secure broker/connect flows.
  • Been ruthless about speed, quality, and simplicity. You fix problems instead of writing excuses.
  • Been founder-ready: recruited engineers, owned hiring, set tech direction, and represented the product externally.

Preferred skills include experience with market data APIs, trading or brokerage integrations, Supabase/Postgres, Redis, real-time sockets, and scaling mobile backends, as well as working on consumer social products and community features, and building subscription/payments flows.

What We Offer

This is an equity-only, cofounder-level position with a meaningful percentage for a founding CTO. No salary at this stage. Exact equity will be negotiated based on experience, commitment, and contribution.

We expect total ownership and founder-level accountability. If you need a paycheck now, this is not the role.
