Job Title: Placement Director

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our placement efforts. As Placement Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to ensure the successful placement of students in top-tier companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Leadership: Design and implement placement strategies that align with our institute's vision and market trends.
  • Corporate Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with top-tier companies, startups, and public sector enterprises for placements, internships, and live projects.
  • Placement Operations: Oversee the entire placement process, from pre-placement talks to final offers, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for both recruiters and students.
  • Student Readiness: Work closely with faculty and training partners to groom students to meet industry expectations. This includes pre-placement training on resume building, interview prep, and group discussion practice.
  • Alumni Engagement: Leverage the alumni network for placement support, mentorship, and networking opportunities.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Track placement metrics, prepare detailed reports, and present insights to leadership and stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • A postgraduate degree from a reputable institution.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in corporate relations, placements, business development, or HR, ideally within a reputed academic institution or corporate setting.
  • A strong network across various industries (FMCG, BFSI, IT/ITES, Consulting, Manufacturing, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • A strategic thinker with a result-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrated experience in building and leading high-performing teams.
