This role plays a pivotal part in our Identity and Access Management (IAM) department, responsible for manual discovery of Identity Provider (IDP) and API Gateway usage across applications. It involves gathering data from application teams, documenting API credential lifecycles, and supporting governance enforcement.

  • Gathering data from application teams is crucial to this role.
  • The ideal candidate will possess a good understanding of IDP concepts, API authentication, and credential management.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, analysis, and documentation skills are also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members to gather information on API credentials and authentication lifecycles.
  • Lead the manual discovery of IDP and API gateway usage, consolidating collected information into an accurate inventory.
  • Use questionnaires to capture details on authentication methods, credential lifecycles, and governance gaps.
  • Collaborate with IAM architects, product owners, and infrastructure teams to deliver scalable and compliant onboarding solutions.
  • Support go-live activities, post-deployment troubleshooting, and periodic access automation validation checks.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of IT Information Security.
  • A good understanding of IAM control reviews.
  • Experience in user access administration models on various applications.
  • Experience in IAM projects, particularly around IDP and API security.
  • A good understanding of Agile methodology.
  • Effective communication and coordination with various stakeholders is crucial.
  • Good experience in managing application and infrastructure-related issues.
  • A good knowledge of project planning and risk management.
  • Escalation management and stakeholder management.
