About this role:
We are seeking an experienced Research Analyst to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the cement, infrastructure, and real estate sectors, with a proven track record of conducting in-depth industry research and financial analysis.
The successful candidate will be responsible for tracking and analyzing sector companies, industry trends, demand-supply dynamics, pricing, and capacity expansions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting research on the cement sector, including regulatory updates, market performance, and growth opportunities.
- Building and maintaining detailed financial models for coverage companies.
- Assisting in preparing research reports, sector updates, and thematic studies.
- Supporting client interactions with data-driven insights and presentations.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in equity research/industry research (preferably in the cement sector).
- Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation methodologies, and sector dynamics.
- Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA (Finance)/CA/CFA or equivalent qualification.
