Senior Due Diligence Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Due Diligence Specialist to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop an in-depth understanding of target businesses, including their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Lead the execution of client services as Engagement Manager, overseeing project teams and reviewing reports for quality and value-add inputs.
  • Interpret and analyze information memoranda, business plans, and publicly available data to inform due diligence efforts.
  • Produce high-quality deliverables (Excel, PowerPoint documents) within agreed timelines, briefing senior management accordingly.
  • Review historical trading, cash flow, and balance sheets; evaluate projections and underlying assumptions; assess operating trends, quality of earnings, maintainability of EBITDA, working capital, and cash flows considerations.
  • Identify key issues related to deals, assess their impact on valuation and price consideration, and advise on ways to address these issues.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with clients, ensuring compliance with risk management procedures and activities.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing efforts, review processes, and continually improve them to capture and leverage knowledge across the team and firm.
  • Effectively build and manage teams, mentor, coach, and provide strong leadership as a role model.
  • Support business development, proposal writing, and cost estimation activities.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in due diligence, M&A, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of financial analysis, accounting principles, and market trends.
  • Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills.
