Job Title: Financial Modeling Expert

We are seeking a skilled Financial Modeling Expert to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who have a strong passion for finance and modeling.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and auditing financial models for multifamily, office, industrial and retail asset classes, including operating and non-operating cash flow modelling, levered and debt cash flow, JV & waterfall.

  1. Develop and audit financial models for multifamily, office, industrial and retail asset classes.
  2. Create Argus valuation models (single property and portfolio), lease abstracting, lease review, and audit, performing cash flow and rent roll analysis.
  3. Perform valuations for commercial real estate properties using income capitalization approach (DCF & direct capitalization), sales comparison approach, and cost approach.
  4. Model REIT income statement and balance sheet, understanding revolver, interest expense & circularity, modeling future development, FFO & CAD.
  5. Prepare pitch books, information memorandums, industry studies, company profiles, company focused discussion documents.
  6. Conduct M&A deal run and potential target & buyer screenings using databases including Greenstreet, RCA, Argus, Costar, Capital IQ, PitchBook, Mergermarket, FactSet.

The ideal candidate will possess strong statistical and analytical skills for economic performance analysis and excellent written and spoken communication skills.

  • Post-Graduation in Finance or equiv. qualification (CFA, MBA (finance), CA or equiv.)
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in Investment banking space or commercial real estate valuation
  • Strong statistical and analytical skills for economic performance analysis
  • Independent work ability and management / leadership skills
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Databases such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, Thomson Research, FactSet working knowledge
  • MS Office suite expertise specially Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point
