Investment Research Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Investment Research Specialist to join our investment team. The ideal candidate should have prior experience in conducting market research, financial modeling, and due diligence within the venture capital/private equity/investment banking ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis on startups and private companies.
  • Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to support investment decisions.
  • Prepare detailed investment memos, pitch decks, and reports for internal committees.
  • Monitor portfolio company performance and prepare regular monitoring dashboards.
  • Assist with due diligence (financial, operational, and market).
  • Collaborate closely with the investment team in the US, aligning with their time zone.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred but not mandatory).
  • 2–5 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, investment banking, or management consulting.
  • Strong expertise in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and investment analysis.
  • Excellent research, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a remote setting.
  • Willingness to work in the US time zone (EST/PST overlap).
