Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Data Strategist to drive and enable relevant insights from available data sets. This role involves performing data ingestion, aggregation, and processing to inform business decisions.

This individual will work closely with various teams to deliver data solutions that generate business value. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources using a variety of tools and techniques.
  2. Identifying innovative ideas and delivering proof of concepts and prototypes to meet existing and future needs.
  3. Integrating and unifying new data assets to enhance the value proposition for customers and expand existing solutions and services.
  4. Analyzing large volumes of transaction and product data to generate insights and actionable recommendations for business growth.
  5. Collecting and synthesizing feedback from clients, development, product, and sales teams to inform new solutions and product enhancements.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Good understanding of streaming technologies, preferably Kafka or Spark Streaming.
  • Experience with Enterprise Business Intelligence Platform/Data Platform.
  • Strong SQL skills and proficiency in higher-level programming languages, such as Java, Scala, or Python.
  • Knowledge of data mining, machine learning algorithms, and tools.
  • Experience with data integration tools, including ETL/ELT tools like Apache NiFi, Azure Data Factory, Pentaho, or Talend.
  • Ability to collect, standardize, summarize, and highlight inconsistencies in data.
  • Understanding of analytical methods and data visualization to support business decisions.
  • Able to understand complex operational systems and analytics/business intelligence tools for delivering information products and analytical offerings to a global user base.
  • Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment experience, working both individually and as part of a team.
  • Ability to move seamlessly between business, analytical, and technical teams and articulate solution requirements for each group.
