Job Summary:

Fund Accounting Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced Fund Accounting Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fund accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, analyzing, and disseminating financial and operational information for various funds. This includes managing capital calls and distributions, collecting and analyzing financial data, and creating journal entries within Investran.

  • Prepare and analyze financial and operational information for fund performance and financial position.
  • Manage capital calls and distributions, including journal entries and investor allocation.
  • Collect and analyze financial data from various sources and prepare reports for investors and stakeholders.
  • Calculate fund performance and ensure reports are accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Create journal entries for quarterly activity within Investran.
  • Review and maintain data for NAV, commitment & uncalled commitment at the investor level.
  • Extract trial balance and general ledgers for Geneva close packages.
  • Prepare distribution journal entries and record them within the accounting system.
  • Prepare quarterly estimates for portfolio performance.
  • Review, format, and upload monthly fund close entries to the accounting system.
  • Prepare regulatory filings (e.g. Form PF, ADV, CIMA FAR) for credit fund entities.
  • Prepare quarterly and annual financials in accordance with US GAAP and/or IFRS.

Requirements:
  • Accounting certification (CA/CPA/ACCA).
  • 5+ years of experience in fund reporting, accounting, and control.
  • Fund accounting principles knowledge and ability to maintain accurate capital account records.
  • Experience in preparing regular financial reports for credit funds.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations and ability to ensure compliance.
  • Ability to perform complex financial analysis and demonstrate strong analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in financial reporting software and systems (Investran, etc.).
  • Ability to manage large amounts of data accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
