Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Workday configurations to join our offshore team. As a Senior / Lead Functional Consultant, you will play a critical role in implementing and configuring Workday solutions.

This position is an excellent foundation for growth in Product Management, functional consulting, and/or business operations. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills combined with expertise in Workday functional processes. They must be able to understand complex business requirements, translate them into effective Workday configurations, and communicate seamlessly with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with business stakeholders and Product Management to understand project requirements, processes, and business needs.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable Workday configurations that align with organizational goals.
  • Configure and maintain Workday modules as per business requirements.
  • Prepare detailed documentation, workflows, and support testing/UAT cycles.
  • Ensure timely delivery of Workday configurations and support change management activities.
  • Act as an anchor resource for the offshore team and provide leadership in establishing best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues, optimize solutions, and provide ongoing support.
Required Skillset:
  • 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Consultant, with at least 2–3 years working with Workday configurations.
  • Strong understanding of HR processes and business workflows.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday HCM and relevant modules (certifications preferred).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in Agile environments, sprint planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Workday module certifications.
  • Prior experience in setting up offshore/remote delivery models.
  • Exposure to Product Management career paths.
  • Ability to mentor, lead, and set up best practices for a growing offshore team.
  • Experience configuring and customizing other back-office SaaS platforms.
