Cloud Infrastructure Specialist Role

This is a critical position that entails managing and implementing the company's on-premises and cloud infrastructure, focusing on Microsoft technologies. The individual in this role will be responsible for identifying technical deficiencies in designs, configuring production environments, and collaborating with team members to resolve technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage medium to large-scale global enterprise network topologies, including designing, deploying, and maintaining hyperconverged and standard three-tier architecture environments using Microsoft virtualization technologies.
  • Maintain and deploy wireless networks for remote buildings and corporate offices.
  • Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure to support cloud migration and delivery of technology solutions using Microsoft Azure resources.
  • Support and manage Office 365 users, Hybrid Exchange Server Configuration, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Environments, Active Directory 2019, DNS, DHCP, File Services, Azure Solutions, and Microsoft Intune.
  • Demonstrate knowledge in server and operating system support, Windows 2019 and above, Backup and Replication technologies, VLANs, IPSEC Tunnels, Virtual Networks, Routing & Switching, Physical Network Infrastructure, Layer 1 Networking, and Internet Service Providers.
  • Partner with internal construction teams and external vendors to track, manage, document, and deliver technical deployments associated with building systems and technologies.
  • Ability to partner with Cybersecurity in Incident Response activities and identify root cause, patient zero, and assist with threat remediation.
  • Deploy and maintain storage area networks.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven 3-5 years of experience as a System Administrator or similar.
  • Proficiency in operating systems Windows Server and virtualization technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security principles, and IT best practices.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) are desirable.
