About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Expert to join our team at Lloyds Register. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing sustainability strategies for our clients across the maritime industry.



Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement sustainability strategies for clients across the maritime industry.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on sustainability-related matters.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of sustainability initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and apply this knowledge to inform sustainability strategies.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and delivery of sustainability services.
  • Conduct site visits and audits to assess clients' sustainability performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to clients and internal teams on sustainability-related topics.
  • Contribute to the development of new business opportunities and proposals.


Requirements



  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, sustainability, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sustainability consulting or a related field.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sustainability strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel regularly, with a valid passport and driver's license.
