About the Role

As a Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in our valuation group. You will work closely with experienced professionals to develop and implement valuation models that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain expertise in real estate valuation, including analysis of market information and real estate documents
  • Perform market research, analyze KPIs, create cash flow models, and write reports
  • Work on valuation engagements assigned by senior team members
  • Lead a team of Analysts and/or Senior Analysts in engagement to achieve end objectives as assigned
  • Project Management - Small to mid-size engagement
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Valuation knowledge of real estate intangible assets using income approach, discounted cash flow method, direct capitalization method, net asset value method, or cost method, and precedent transaction analysis or relative valuation, sales comparison, market approach
  • Ability to develop and maintain complex valuation models and perform highest and best use valuation analysis for financial reporting, tax planning, etc.
  • Knowledge of research databases such as Loopnet, REIS, RCA, real capital analytics, CoStar, CBRE, JLL, C W, Capital IQ, etc.
Requirements:
  • Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with specialization in finance
  • At least 3 years of work experience in real estate valuation projects
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Experience working with BIG4 accounting firms is highly valued
