Senior GL Accountant Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Senior General Ledger Accountant to join our organization. The ideal candidate will have strong accounting fundamentals, excellent Excel skills, and prior experience in general ledger management.
- Responsible for revenue recognition and accounting in compliance with applicable accounting standards.
- Prepare and submit general ledger entries with supporting documentation.
- Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations, identifying and resolving variances.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and accruals.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Support audit processes by preparing the required schedules and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper recording of financial transactions.
- Analyze and interpret financial data to support reporting and decision-making.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years proven working experience in accounting domain.
- Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping.
- Strong technology skills are critical, with expertise in Microsoft Excel.
- Working experience in Sage Intacct is a plus.
- Flexibility to work in UK/ US time zone.
- Prior experience to work into third-party client set-up.
- Experience managing project work with tight deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment.
