System Reliability Expert

Job Overview: Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)


The team responsible for delivering business vision and strategy at a global level, focusing on achieving consistent operational excellence and user satisfaction through industrialisation, price/value optionality and leveraging increased automation and technology.


  • Creating a digital vision and integrating it with the organization's overall strategic plans.
  • Identifying opportunities to differentiate the bank's digital portfolio including capabilities and solutions.
  • Acting as a change agent in leading organisational changes required to create and maintain the necessary digital portfolio.

As Senior SRE, you will orchestrate and contribute SRE activities across API Platforms and Integration services. You will introduce software- and systems engineering disciplines to build and run large-scale, massively distributed, fault-tolerant systems.


You will implement core DevOps principles and practices, focusing on improving reliability. Establish capacity planning procedures and monitor SLIs and SLOs for production readiness and live environment.


Your Key Responsibilities
  • Engage in the whole lifecycle of services - from inception and design, deployment, operation, and refinement.
  • Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
  • Scale systems sustainably through automation, evolution, and improvements.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Expert hands-on experience with on-premises infrastructure.
  • Expert hands-on experience with cloud ecosystems running on Google Cloud.
  • Expert hands-on experience with Docker/Kubernetes operations using GKE or similar technology.
  • Expert experience with automated infrastructure provisioning based on Terraform/TerraGrunt, Terraform Enterprise, and Ansible.
  • Advanced hands-on experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (GitHub) and patterns for CI/CD pipelines.
