Job Description

As a Building Systems Specialist, you will play a vital role in designing and implementing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems for high-rise buildings, residential projects, and townships. Your expertise will ensure the efficient and sustainable operation of these systems, minimizing environmental impact while meeting building codes and industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Planning: Develop comprehensive designs for MEP systems, considering energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with architects, construction managers, and other engineering disciplines to integrate MEP systems seamlessly.
  • System Management: Oversee the selection, installation, and maintenance of equipment and components for all MEP systems.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all systems meet relevant building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Efficiency and Sustainability: Design and optimize systems for energy efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and minimal environmental impact.
  • Documentation: Prepare and review detailed drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates for all MEP scope of work.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve any issues related to MEP systems during the design, installation, or operational phases.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • Technical Knowledge: A deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, power systems, and water distribution.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage project timelines and resources related to MEP installations.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Aptitude for critical thinking and resolving complex technical challenges.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in reviewing designs and specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Qualification and Experience

We are looking for a BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineer with 6 to 8 years of experience in high-rise buildings, residential projects, and townships. Preferably, you should have a strong background in MEP system design and implementation, with excellent technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.
